Great Place to Stay

I've just returned home from an eight week stay off season in one of Ingram Bay Marina's vacation rentals. It was a lovely stay! Mary and Billy were terrific hosts, the cabin was convenient, spotlessly clean, with laundry close by in the bath house and a boat ramp right there. Unfortunately I was off season so the weather wasn't good for more water based activities but I did manage to get out on the creek once. What a great place to stay and go boating from or, take a fishing expedition with Billy. I wouldn't hesitate to return and spend time again. Thanks to Mary and Billy for a great stay! ~Janet M. 

Great weekend stay!

My boyfriend and I bought a boat in June 2016 and are new to boating. Being that we don't live close to the Chesapeake Bay (our favorite fishing waterway) and have to tow our boat over an hour, we are always on the look out for a marina that offers on-site lodging. This was the perfect place! The two of us and my boyfriends son stayed for the weekend. The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and just steps away from the marina. We were able to easily launch our boat at the boat ramp and put it in our assigned covered slip. The next morning as soon as the sun came up, we were on the water and in The Bay in minutes! The marina is just minutes by car to local stores and eateries too.The cabins kitchen is nicely equipped and had what we needed to cook our catch (including crabs we caught in our pots we put in the water at the marina). It was very peaceful and has beautiful views at sunrise as well as sunset. Captain Billy answered all of our fishing questions and Mary was very accommodating. We totally enjoyed our stay and will be back! ~Sherridan L. 

Capt. Billy and Mary are the best. Great marina and Cabins to stay in. I highly recommend this marina to everyone!! If you bring your boat, very easy access to the bay and great fishing grounds. Second time staying here. We love it!! With or without the kids always a great place. Captain Billy has taught us a lot about fishing each time we come. Beautiful cabins to rent, covered slips, and great hospitality! Great access to some very close fishing! Bring your boat and stay for a fabulous weekend.  We were impressed since we came in early April when my daughter was on spring break. The girls used the complimentary kayaks from the Marina to the house and back. We enjoyed the Crazy Crab for dinner, savory crab with cheddar on top of an english muffin. We met a friend at the the Car Wash Cafe, and ended up there on Sunday for breakfast before heading home to Fredericksburg. The house was wonderful, the amenities were plentiful, from the Fuji water in the fridge, toilet paper, a complimentary bottle of wine. Its always nice when the beds are made and towels provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hosts were friendly and made sure to do everything they could to make it pleasant. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!!!
